Well situated for concert at Stadtpark Open Air. Everything was in order, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We loved our stay One minor detail was the only negative: pillows in bed must be made for giants! Where we come from pillows for humans fit under the head. We had to sleep without ;-)

We choose to stay at this hotel because it was the cheapest one near the Hamburg sportshalle. And even at the low price point everything was near flawless, easy check in with staff that spoke English, clean room with some amazing beds and a nice big bath tub. The only real problem we had was that we couldn't figure out how to lock the bathroom door, and the glass panel in the bath didn't keep the water from going on the floor. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this as a place to rest after a concert or long evening exploring Hamburg :D
