A hip spot, easily walkable to almost anything one wants to see and visit in Bilbao and close to the subway for easy connections virtually anywhere in Spain. The room was comfortable, though slightly worn with scuffed walls and a few marks on the floor. The partially frosted glass bathroom walls may be a turn off to those more modest or not related. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and I would not hesitate to stay again.

Only 2 opportunities for improvement noted - 1. Room 514 - no hooks beside the shower for a towel, they were across the bathroom meaning water all over the floor - 2. The tables in the restaurant are varnished and sticky to the touch, or just not cleaned properly, maybe a hangover from a Covid treatment

Great location, nice hotel

Very nice hotel in a great location. Hotel was smart and always smelt wonderful! Helpful staff. Room serviced every day. Very good breakfast. Rooms a tad small with not much room for luggage. And I’m really not a fan of the trend for frosted glass bathrooms in the bedroom. Not private enough.

Lovely stay. Perfectly placed hotel on the edge of the Old Town. Rooms cleaned daily. Good sized room and bathroom with great city views. Enjoyed the rooftop bar. Food was nice and fresh at breakfast time and a lovely restaurant area. Would recommend.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel right in the old town of Bilbao. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was also a rooftop bar which I didn't know about at time of booking, it turned out to be the best part with fantastic views over the city. It's a shame we were only staying one night. Thank you, we'll definitely be back!

Nice hotel, fast checkin. Only thing to keep in mind is that bathroom has glass walls in the bedroom. If you stay with kids this is something to keep in mind.

Luis was so wonderful and extremely helpful when our baggage was delayed from our flight. He went above and beyond for us and we are so appreciative for his assistance. The rest of the staff was great, too. We loved our Jr. Suite and especially the gorgeous terrace view. Gracias NYX Hotel!

... perfect location, we enjoyed our stay

I stayed for only two days, but enjoyed it a lot. The room was relatively small, but modern, well maintained and comfortable. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast (also got a to-go breakfast when I check-out very early). Two small suggestions: Add a power outlet (for a laptop) near the top of the small desk (not at its foot). Add a box of tissue paper in the room.

Virginia was so friendly, helpful and always helping us with queries over language, places to visit, what to see. Always smiling and nothing was too much trouble for her. She always made us feel special. She was helping us learn both Spanish and basque language. Andrea on reception was also extremely helpful and friendly. All staff were friendly. Room was excellent, clean and spacious. Location was perfect for access to old town and buses and trams right outside hotel to all round the city and metro to further afield. Our view was a city view. Breakfast was very good and catered for all tastes continental or cooked along with fruit meats cereals breads etc. Bathroom in room is only separated by glass panels which was fine for us (couple) but if friends are sharing be aware it does not give a lot of privacy. However for most people it will be fine. Huge double length shower and large bathroom. Definitely will visit again and stay here.

Modern clean and convenient location. Our room on the 8th floor had a view of the bridge. Just round the corner is the old town and a it’s a pleasant walk to the Guggenheim. Good price would recommend.

The hotel was in a super location between the old and new town. Staff were friendly and helpful. The reception was inviting and rooms clean and comfortable. We would have preferred if the bathroom was more private (walls of glass) though this would not prevent us from staying here again.

Stayed here for 3 nights and was really impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the hotel at a very reasonable price. Right on the edge of the old town and all its bars and a short walk from everywhere you could possibly want to go in Bilbao on a short break. My only gripe would be the glass walls for the bathroom - there's frosting but it doesn't leave much to the imagination.....

The hotel is located in a very good location in the old town. Room pleasant and clean. Nice and helpful reception staff. There are plenty of places with good food nearby. All attractions within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.

The location was perfect. Stayed 2 nights but wish that we had had longer. Didn’t eat at the hotel as there are so many restaurants nearby. Comfortable & functional room. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The location is really good for both old and new town, and has a metro station nearby. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed the city view from our window. The reception staff were very pleasant and helped where they could with any inquiries. Overall a great stay, and we hope to return in the future.

Great hotel, excellent location and great soundproofing from street noise. Only minor point in as glass bathroom door but as mentioned, a very small point. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

Ideally located. Opposite river and adjacent to old town. Very central for all amenities. Hotel smart and modern. Two lifts, both speedy and in excellent orde.

I was allocated a superior room with an enormous balcony on the 7th floor which was impressive (apart from the balcony door didn’t lock). The TV had a couple of English news channels. Funky art all over the hotel. Staff very helpful at all times. Breakfast ok, could do with more fresh fruit and yoghurt selection and muesli/granola. Hot selection was limited to bacon, beans and eggs. Great location at the head of the old town by the river.

Smart modern hotel in central Bilbao comfortable and good service - some aspects could have been slightly better over the europa cup weekend but generally very good

The upgraded room was really appreciated and the terrace was beautiful overlooking the city
